10 Content Additions That Would Improve WWE Network

6. WWF Superstars / Wrestling Challenge / All-American Wrestling

Before the days of Raw and Smackdown, the WWF had a few different shows airing in syndication and on cable, showing pre-taped matches, segments and promos. It was a great way for fans to get their fix of wrestling during the weekends, while they waited for Prime Time Wrestling every week. These different shows would always feature matches involving many of the top names on the roster, including the occasional title match (titles changed hands on Superstars matches numerous times). Back when "squash" matches were popular, you'd tune in to these shows and often see the likes of Barry Horowitz, "Iron" Mike Sharpe and The Brooklyn Brawler get destroyed in a matter of minutes by whomever the company felt like pushing and making look strong at the time. Many of these matches and interview segments (Paul Bearer's Funeral Parlor, Piper's Pit, Brutus Beefcake's Barber Shop, etc) were only aired in these formats, and other than the occasional ones to make DVD sets in the following years, most fans don't have access to them, which should make these types of shows highly sought after, and would be a different "vibe" to the hectic atmosphere of the current WWE programming.
