10 Content Additions That Would Improve WWE Network

7. Shotgun Saturday Night

There was never a wrestling show quite like Shotgun Saturday Night before, and there hasn't been a wrestling show quite like Shotgun Saturday Night since. It began airing on late Saturday nights when 1997 started, and was a show that pushed more boundaries than Raw did. Many saw this as the WWF's answer to ECW. Instead of taking place in arenas, the show initially took place inside of nightclubs, and even inside of a train station at one point. It was something different than WWF fans were used to seeing. It wasn't long before the show went from being unique and fresh to simply being yet another "B-Show" taped before Raw in whatever city the company was in that week. Those initial episodes would make for a fun addition to the Network, though. It's another contrast to the direction the PG-era product is going in these days, and for younger fans of WWE, it would be fun for them to see when everything was nearly at a complete 180.
