7. Ronda Rousey’s Screwy Punch
Ronda Rousey was determined to make her titular match vs. Liv Morgan on the recent Extreme Rules 2022 card memorable. Privately, Ronda was pitching all sorts of wacky spots to Triple H in the hopes that 'The Game' would like one of them and let both women work a flashy finish.
Thumbtacks were ruled out immediately (WWE's current edict says wrestlers "can't purposefully injure people and cut their skin"). So, Rousey went back to scheming and suggested "tiny maple leaf pins" as a landing spot instead. Again, Trips said no.
Ronda next suggestion? Grab a fistful of screws like Wolverine from X-Men, then gut punch Liv in the side. Who knows why Rousey thought that'd get the go-ahead when tacks had already been banned - she was pitching a potentially-disastrous scenario that'd see an ex-MMA fighter literally punch someone with spiky screws.
Hunter unsurprisingly knocked that one back too, and likely asked Rousey to stop making pitches.
