10 Cringeworthy WWE Moments That Had Fans Blushing

6. Vince McMahon Fights God

Pro wrestling is an industry that requires at least some ability to suspend one's own disbelief and simply enjoy the show. That's all well and good, but it's definitely not fine when the single most powerful man in the entire business decides he wants to fight a beam of light shot down from the lighting rig.

At Backlash 2006, WWE seriously promoted a match revolving around the idea that God would be appearing. Making the situation infinitely more ludicrous, the religious leader was set to team with Shawn Michaels (a real-life born again Christian) against both Vince and Shane McMahon.

Surely at the last minute there could have been something better in the pipeline than what transpired, which was a spotlight shone on the entrance way, moving slowly towards the ring as though God himself was ready to rumble WWE style.

It's legitimately entertaining to watch ringside fans awkwardly mumble to one another whilst keeping their eyes on the light. Anyone religious would have been offended, and anyone who isn't probably questioned what they were watching.
