10 Current WWE Stars Worth Their Weight In Gold

7. Brock Lesnar

WWE's reliance on part-time stars over the past decade has long been a point of contention for wrestling fans. Yes it's great to see the stars of yesteryear in the ring again and their appearance normally pops a strong rating, but it often comes at the expense of today's stars. When WrestleMania season comes around and guys like Goldberg and Triple H are taking up key spots from fan favourites, it looks like a slap in the face to those who are (in more normal times) on the road almost all year.

Despite this, Brock Lesnar has managed to maintain a level of popularity which has meant he has avoided the level of ire fans have given to legends like Goldberg. The key reason for this, and something that he doesn't get enough credit for, is that Brock still knows when to make someone else look like a star. Case in point, the 2020 Royal Rumble, when The Beast Incarnate made stars of both Keith Lee and eventual winner Drew Mcintyre through his willingness to take their offence. Yes, there were occasions, especially when he held the Universal Championship, that Brock could have done more to get over guys like Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe, but when Lesnar wants to get someone over, you can be certain he will do everything in his power to make it happen.

Lesnar can also go in the ring in a way unimaginable to most part-timers, and he carries an aura of legitimacy not seen on anyone on the current roster, thanks to his consistently strong booking, freakish presence, and time in the UFC. As long as he continues to draw (which does seem to be the case) WWE would be wise to do everything in their power to keep him around.
