10 Dumb Reasons Why Wrestlers Had To Apologise To Other Wrestlers

When WWE stars had to suck it up and say sorry for the stupidest reasons.

Anybody who has ever been in a pro wrestling locker room could tell you that it's a weird vibe.

It can be a good vibe, of course, but there's this unique nervousness hanging over the place like a cloud. Everyone wants to do the right thing, and age-old protocols demand that you shake everybody else's hand immediately upon arriving at the building or be cast out forever like some sort of demon.

Obviously, that's an extreme example. It's true though - wrestlers can catch some heat if they don't give off the right signals, show deference to their peers or generally act the way people expect them to act. It's a tough gig, and it's almost like there's more potential for drama behind the curtain than there is for drama in front of it.

The following collection of stories should be a reminder that it is a crazy business. Most of the so-called rule breakers forced to apologise for their sins didn't even know they were doing anything wrong in the first place.

They still had to say sorry, and it was dumb. So, so dumb...

10. The Miz (Eating Chicken)

Like this.

The Miz was forced to change with the punters in public restrooms when Chris Benoit decided to throw the rookie out of WWE's locker room. Why? Well, ol' Mr. Miz had been found eating some chicken over referee Scott Armstrong's bag in there, and that was apparently a strict no-no.

It's doubtful that Miz did this on purpose, or even knew that Armstrong's luggage was nearby. Nonetheless, Benoit told him that he wasn't welcome in the locker room anymore. A good six months went by before The Undertaker asked Miz why he was getting dressed out in the hallway and not with the rest of the guys.

Miz explained, and was told to apologise for his actions before getting a lifetime ticket back into a room filled with sweaty balls and deep heat spray. Lucky him. Seriously though, it's pretty daft that someone was excluded for munching some food and failing to pay attention to what bags were nearby.
