10 Fantasy WWE Stables That Would Have Been Amazing

3. The Broken Universe

The closest WWE came to delivering any approximation of Matt Hardy's Broken Universe occured the night after a WrestleMania 34 when Matt and new partner Bray Wyatt effectively introduced their 'Deleters Of Worlds' pairing to Jeff ahead of a brand split separating them back when such a thing actually mattered for a performer.

The wild world Hardy created in Impact Wrestling was a gift to everybody that dared tiptoe near it. With almost real recuperative powers, the "Lake Of Reincarnation" on the Hardy Compound has actually worked for those that have dipped a toe. Jeff's own "Brother Nero" turn afforded him a role back alongside Matt when the brothers returned in 2017, Bray was briefly reinvigorated in their aforementioned team, whilst the likes of The Hurricane, The Rock & Roll Express and even Papa Shango/The Godfather were given new leases of life as result of their time sharing Hardy's insane visions.

Sadly, WWE's only effort to embrace it came at something of a distance - a Hardy/Wyatt "Ultimate Deletion" contest was rudely castigated by Michael Cole before it drew one of Monday Night Raw's stronger final hour ratings of the year, and a return to the gimmick hasn't been overtly forthcoming since Matt returned in February 2019.
