10 Fastest Female Pushes In WWE History
8. Debra (84 Days)
Despite having a total of just nine matches on her WWE
resume, the record books show that Debra does in fact have a Women’s Championship
reign to her name.
What the record books won’t tell you, however, is that the title win arrived in an evening gown match. And furthermore, it was an evening gown match that Debra didn’t even win, per se.
Debra vs. Sable for the Women’s title was the official billing of the match, but when Val Venis came to ringside and caught the attention of Debra, it was Sable who ripped her opponent’s gown off, thus being named the victor.
However, Commissioner Shawn Michaels (who’d been on commentary for the match) wasn’t too pleased with the verdict. He made his way to the ring and handed the belt to Debra, arguing that “with puppies like that” she was the 'real' winner, thus crowning her the new champion just 84 days after her in-ring debut on Feb. 15, 1999.
It’s worth mentioning that Debra had of course been around as a manager for a little longer than this, but Feb. 15 was the official date of her in-ring debut, and so that’s the number we’ll roll with here.
This may not seem like the most legitimate of championship victories, but it was nonetheless a win that marked one of the fastest rises in WWE women’s division history.
