A rather more credible Women’s Championship victory was that of Jazz in 2002. She had arrived in the WWE in light of the demise of her former stomping ground, ECW.

After a couple of house show outings, Jazz made her WWE televised debut at the 2001 Survivor Series on Nov. 18, emerging as a surprise participant in the Women's Championship six-pack challenge, also featuring Trish Stratus, Lita, Jacqueline, Might Molly and Ivory.

Though she wouldn’t emerge the victor that evening, she was soon fast-tracked to the Women’s Championship title picture after subsequent wins over Molly and Jacqueline. Her first crack at the gold came at the 2002 Royal Rumble, and while she would taste defeat on that occasion, she eventually atoned for the loss on Feb. 2, 2002, when she defeated Trish Stratus - who was, incidentally the very woman who had won the belt in Jazz’s aforementioned debut.

In total, that made for a 78-day turnaround between Jazz first showing up on WWE TV and her capturing the Women’s Championship, a fitting rise for a woman as dominant as she was.
