10 Former Stars WWE Should Re-Hire
8. Carlito
Carlito's WWE tenure came to a premature end in 2010 when he was released due to a violation of the company's Talent Wellness Program, subsequently refusing to attend rehabilitation for a pain killer addiction.
Prior to his struggles, Carlito had proved he was as versatile in the ring as he was on the microphone. From his battles with Ric Flair to tag team bouts against Edge and Chris Jericho, The Carribean Bad Apple's performances were always top notch.
That didn't change after he returned to the World Wrestling Council following his termination.
At 37 years-old, Carlito is undoubtedly in the greatest shape of his life and is a clear standout in Puerto Rico. Revealing in March that it was always his plan to return to WWE under the right circumstances, there is no better time than now for another familiar face to rejoin the fray.
With his brother and cousin featuring in Puerto Rico-centric vignettes on Raw, the opportunity for Carlito to join his family is begging to be taken.
It would not only boost his family members' impending tag team run but create another triad team, which WWE seems to just love at the moment.
