10 Former WWE Stars Who Should Return In 2018

Tipped by many as a potential Royal Rumble surprise, Big Dave didn't show up in Philadelphia, but there's still a distinct possibility that we'll see him on WWE television by the end of the year.

The Guardians Of The Galaxy star revealed in late 2017 that he and Vince McMahon had already talked about a potential return, and if he can fit it into his schedule, he'd love one last, big run as a full-timer. Batista doesn't want to take the Goldberg route: he wants to do everything, house shows and all, which would help endear him to those sick of ageing part-timers returning to hog the spotlight.

His age (49) and burgeoning Hollywood career make a comeback unlikely, but it's clear that Batista wants a big farewell tour - it's just a case of making it happen.

Batista's last run wasn't a success, but 2014 may as well be ancient history now. He's a far bigger star today than he was back then, and while WWE would need to be a lot smarter than they were four years ago, 'The Animal' could absolutely play a positive role in 2018.
