9. Charlotte

Unlike many gimmicks on this list, Charlotte's does appear to be finally going somewhere interesting. Ever since her call-up to the main roster, she's played the overly-simple role of smiling babyface (who just happens to be the daughter of a Hall of Famer and genuine legend). Like many members of the so-called 'Divas Revolution', Charlotte hasn't been given enough material to properly develop a character for herself - yet somehow she finds herself champion of the division. If her connection with her father is going to be pushed as heavily as it has been, surely it makes sense that she begins to act a little...heelish? Thankfully, hints of a turn have started to crop up over the past couple of weeks. The first seeds were sown with a far-from-clean victory over Becky Lynch, thanks to a fake injury and a distraction from Ric himself. Tension has only increased since then, with Charlotte selfishly costing her partner a singles win over Brie Bella with an (apparently) inadvertent interference. The other alternative is that Becky will turn, the result of a few tempting words in her ear from Paige. Either outcome would be welcomed, although I'd personally prefer to see Charlotte turn to the dark side. Lynch seems far too much of a natural babyface, and the idea of Flair's daughter heeling it up as much as her legendary father is too good an opportunity to pass up.
