10 Great WWE Matches That Didn't Have A Finish
3. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs The Shield - Raw 11/11/2013
Most of wrestling is deeply uncool, so on the rare occasion something genuinely cool turns up, it’s to be cherished. Here in one match, WWE managed to combine just about everything cool that they had to offer, and it paid off in spades.
The Raw main event saw a handicap match of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, both incredibly popular, taking on The Shield, who were then beginning to truly take off. The match itself is strong but unexceptional, with everyone getting to strut their stuff for a spell.
Then, the Wyatt family shows up. They leap into the ring and get into it with The Shield (in a preview of their incredible six-man the next year). Punches and bodies fly until Bray Wyatt splits the two teams, pointing out that they have common enemies in Punk and Bryan.
The two technicians stand back to back in the ring, fighting off the teams; eventually they’re joined by the Usos and Goldust and Stardust, who put an end to the nonsense, chucking out Wyatts and hounds of justice alike. The cherry on the cake is the Manchester crowd, going berserk in the way only a UK audience can.
