5. 'Sensational' Sherri

The only other female to take her place on this list, the 'Sensational' Sherri was another who was a physical threat. As a wrestler, she didn't only come across as a worry to other women, she could handle herself against the men too. That came across loud and clear, Sherri was never too shy to get involved.

Cutting her teeth in the AWA, it was in the WWF that Sherri really started to show signs of promise. Key to her success was the kind of performer she was linked to, they were routinely huge names. That said, they also benefitted from having her presence in their corner.

Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair were just some of the wrestlers Sherri represented. Occasionally, she was called upon to do some talking, but the bulk of her work came whilst matches were in progress.

An in-her-prime Sherri would rule the WWE women's division today, she was a cut above the rest. As a valet, she stood out, her striking looks and menacing persona combining brilliantly to enhance every act she associated with.
