Most of the matches that earn their place on lists like this are due to the in-ring action being stellar. Others rely on the storytelling and the crowd to elevate an ordinary match to an all-time classic. Then there are matches like this, that despite being an in-ring contest, are more of a moment in time that wrestling fans will remember forever.

Scott Hall and Kevin Nash had recently debuted in WCW after leaving the WWF and challenged WCW pillars Randy Savage, Sting and Lex Luger to a six-man tag team match, promising a surprise partner. Fans were left wondering who the third man could be, as even after the contest started, there was no partner for The Outsiders. After a bout that fans may forget was very good between the five all-time greats, the match reached its boiling point after Hall distracted the referee and Big Sexy took out Savage with a low blow, leading to top babyface Hulk Hogan to make his way down to the ring.

The rest, as they say, is history as Hulk Hogan entered the ring and dropped his leg on Randy Savage, signalling the end of Hulkamania. The match was declared a No Contest, but that was hardly what anyone cared about as Hogan, alongside Hall and Nash declared the start of a New World Order.
