10 Hidden WCW Gems To Watch On WWE Network

3. Cactus Jack & Kevin Sullivan Vs. The Nasty Boys: Slamboree 1994

Mick Foley and Kevin Sullivan are both revered as two of the wrestling business' great minds. They may not have had the classic superstar pro wrestler look, but both men were masters of structuring a match and of advancing a storyline.

The Nasty Boys, though? It's fair to say the Nasties have never been thought of as anything even close to being good workers. If anything, Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags are usually in the conversation when it comes to sloppy workers who are a liability to be in the ring with.

At the 1994 Slamboree PPV, however, these four wrestlers put on a brilliant, brutal battle for the ages.

Clocking in at a barely 10 minutes, the Broad Street Bully gimmick placed on this tag contest allowed for utter chaos to play out. There's a ridiculous table dive spot from Foley, some exceedingly snug shots, a rabid Philadelphia crowd, a hardman hockey player as the special referee, post-match shenanigans, and the small matter of Mick Foley winning his first major title as he and Sullivan took the WCW Tag Team Championships from Knobbs and Sags.

While some of the other matches featured in this list might be deemed technical wizardry, this one was just an all-out brawl that was way ahead of its time for 1994 WCW.
