No injury is ever funny but the circumstances of Vince McMahon's unfortunate night at the 2005 Royal Rumble were fairly humorous.

Just moments after John Cena and Batista stumbled over the top rope and to the arena floor, botching the planned finish for the night's namesake match, McMahon stomped to the squared circle like Donald Trump after the latest episode of Saturday Night Live. He slid into the ring with the grace of a figure skater, stood up...and crumbled to the mat in pain.

There he sat, on his a**, looking up at the referees and Superstars around him, none of them offering to pick him up off the ground.

Good thing they did not. As it turned out, the boss had torn both quadriceps at once. Taking into account they are the biggest muscles in the human body, that he was able to focus on the task at hand rather than sobbing in agony is a testament to the man's toughness.

Stupidity, too - but definitely toughness.

He would miss minimal time, getting around the backstage area in a wheelchair when necessary. Still, the injury remains one of the highest profile in WWE, not to mention most memorable due to the hilarity and chaos that occurred around it.
