10 Huge Wrestling Matches That Were Put On The Scrap Heap

9. The Undertaker vs. Ted DiBiase Jr. (WrestleMania XXVI)

Undertaker Ted Dibiase It may be startling to imagine now, but Ted DiBiase Jr was earmarked for big things by all and sundry when he started working in the wrestling business. The son of the legendary 'Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase Sr, Ted the younger showed great promise during early exchanges as part of a tag-team with another fledgling star, Cody Rhodes. Quickly, the duo would be placed under the control of Randy Orton, becoming important parts of the 'Legacy' faction, one led by the 'Viper'. The idea was simple, both DiBiase and Rhodes would have their status enhanced by association with a genuine main event player, and be given the time to grow into similar roles themselves. Stunningly, DiBiase was discussed as a possible opponent for The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVI, long before the idea of having a rematch from the previous year between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels was scheduled. Even more amazingly, there were reserved talks about having DiBiase be the one to end 'Taker's winning streak at the big event, which seems impossible now.
