9. Attacking Zach Gowen

WWE featured many tasteless angles and moments during the early 2000s, and how the company handled one legged athlete Zach Gowen wouldn't exactly fit into the PG-13 product it's since become. Brock Lesnar not only "broke" Gowen's leg after F5-ing him into a ringpost, but tied him to his wheelchair the next week and pushed him down some stairs. Like what happened with Stephanie, this was an attempt to make Brock look like a bully and to establish him as a despicable heel. It worked in some respects, but there are better ways to get fans to boo someone than having them beat up a woman and amputee. Having Brock take part in this could have resulted in him being remembered for all the wrong reasons.
