Since WrestleMania, Braun Strowman has been handled rather well. Though he failed to make an impact at the show of shows, he got face to face with Universal Champion Brock Lesnar the following evening on Raw. Being as how Lesnar had just requested a match with Roman Reigns, that put Strowman and Reigns on a collision course. Over the past few weeks, Strowman has flipped over an ambulance with Reigns inside, broken the ring by superplexing The Big Show, and thrown Kalisto off the Raw stage in a dumpster.

It seems like Strowman's rise is meteoric. He'll be taking on Reigns at Payback, and many have assumed that the winner will get a title shot at Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire. Given that Reigns-Lesnar is the rumored main event for next year's WrestleMania, it's basically a lock that Strowman will be "The Beast's" first challenger.

Here's the thing, though - there's another Raw Pay-Per-View between Payback and Great Balls of Fire, Extreme Rules. The winner of Payback's main event may have no bearing on who challenges Brock, because that could be decided at Extreme Rules. It's not at all out of the question to think that that PPV will be headlined by a Strowman-Reigns gimmick match, either.

Rather than job Reigns out twice, it seems more likely that he'll get the first win and Strowman will take the rematch. It's not definite, but it's a definite possibility.
