10 Legitimate Fighters Who Competed In WWE
5. Evander Holyfield
It's kind of generous to say that Evander Holyfield "competed" in WWE. He basically just rocked up for one episode of Saturday Night's Main Event, where he spent a couple of minutes throwing unconvincing punches at Matt Hardy.
This formed part of MVP's ongoing United States Championship feud with the latter, which consisted - for some reason - of things like a basketball game, a chest match and hotdog-eating competition; essentially everything other than, you know, an actual wrestling match.
Holyfield was supposed to fighting the corner of the champ, but he eventually took exception to being bossed around, and threw a right hand in his direction once he was done with Hardy, thus ending the contest after about three, extremely tedious minutes.
Given how well WWE used fellow boxers Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather at WrestleManias XIV and XXIV, this one probably has to go down as something of a disappointment.
