10 Lessons WWE Could Learn From Lucha Underground

4. Wow, Johnny Mundo Is A Better Wrestler Than John Morrison EVER Was

One of the great highlights of Lucha Underground was to see, after being a wrestler for 12 years, John Morrison (as Johnny Mundo) finally turn the corner into being the superstar he was always pushed as being in WWE. Note this isn't to say that John Morrison was particularly bad in WWE, but in Lucha Underground, he was put in the role of being a cornerstone star of the promotion, and truly found that next level of motivation that defines a superstar-level main event performer. Sometimes wrestling requires challenging one's self to do more than is required in order to get exactly what you've always deserved. John Morrison could've coasted in Lucha Underground. But instead, in all things and in all ways (including being tossed through a plate-glass window by Alberto El Patron) he excelled. Should we want to see Johnny Mundo level work out of a returned-to-WWE John Morrison. One can only hope and wish.
