10 Loudest Crowd Reactions In UFC History
4. Michael Bisping Wins The Big One (UFC 199)
Now retired, Michael Bisping will go down in the annals of UFC as one of the greatest stories in the company's illustrious catalogue.
Announcing himself in The Ultimate Fighter Season 3, training under Tito Ortiz, the Brit would win the series at Light Heavyweight - being only the second man to do so at that weight.
After an initial shot of success at that weight, he moved down to Middleweight in 2008 and spent the next eight years rubbing shoulders, to mixed success, with the likes of Chael Sonnen, Dan Henderson and Anderson Silva.
With all that, it still looked as though the Journeyman of UFC would never seize his chance to become the Middleweight Champ.
That all changed at UFC 199, when Chris Weidman pulled out of his scheduled title match with the then champion of the Middleweights, Luke Rockhold. On 17 days notice, Bisping took the opportunity and it's a good thing he did.
Astoundingly knocking out Rockhold in the first round, the crowd went berserk as their loyal son finally captured the gold that had eluded him for so long.
Bisping would become the first ever - and only - British champion in the UFC in what many critics believe to be one of the biggest upsets in MMA history.
