10 Major Unanswered Questions About AEW

5. Keeping Score

At AEW's next pay-per-view Full Gear, Cody will challenge Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship because he is, according to their records thus far, top of the pile based on wins and losses.

Of course, the real reason this match is happening now is because it features two major stars in a contest that could and should be a potential ticket-flogger whilst buzz for the product in general is still in high supply. In order not to break promises about results as they did television coverage, All Elite Wrestling's points and performance charts should constantly be part of the conversation.

It's never been easier to do this either. A running tally on the website that matches up with the figures in the entrance chyron could be the sole responsibility of a staffer and probably should be - somebody somewhere on Reddit or Twitter will almost certainly be providing the service to fans the second a high profile clash feels more a result of the pencil than points total. But let this force some creativity - the idea that a babyface steps aside for the good of a personal rivalry is intriguing, as too is the world in which wrestlers turn around losing streaks authentically, rather than getting rocket-strapped on a 1-25 record.
