10 Major Unanswered Questions About AEW

By accident or dangerous and risky design, All Elite Wrestling have completely f*cked Hangman Page.

The company's golden boy at launch, his aura decreased with every appearance as the likes of MJF and Luchasaurus gobbled up the attention by showing their talents rather than using the company's marketing instead. Page's ponderous clash with Kip Sabian was an almighty step back - a large enough leap for everybody to anoint Chris Jericho the World Champion long before his back elbow and bubbly became the defining memories of All Out.

The win/loss counts could prove hugely beneficial for the company in this regard - Page going from the penthouse to the outhouse proffers a major redemption story, though with Kenny Omega being featured similarly, a trip to the darkside might be in order for the fallen star.

As a piece of cowboy sh*t rather than a hero on a white horse, Page's style lends itself to boos more so than some of the other boy-poppers on the roster. His original presence in Bullet Club was as a villain too - this is not a role he can't play, but is crucially one that hasn't existed in AEW before. Long past the point of merely looking for "Elite", the audience wants new, too. Heel Hangman would be boxfresh on TNT.
