10 Major WWE Superstars That Hated WCW

10. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase

When Ted DiBiase showed up in WCW as a member of the nWo, it really looked like the group was going to be a WWF "takeover" group. His storyline addition to the group made perfect sense... he was known for being very wealthy, and that kind of money can buy all kinds of things like more soldiers and power in a growing war against WCW. After a while, though, DiBiase merely blended into the background, becoming silent with zero mic time, before disappearing altogether. It was strange, but with everything that was going on with the nWo, your attention was always elsewhere, so you couldn't really pay it any mind for too long. We would eventually find out, from DiBiase himself, that he was brought in to WCW to essentially be the "leader" of the group. It would be his finances and smarts as "Billionaire Ted" that helped the stable acquire new members and get advantages with management, and he would make for a really good "mouthpiece" for those group members that didn't cut the greatest promos. According to DiBiase, Eric Bischoff sat and watched how hot the nWo was getting, and he decided to insert himself into the group, pretty much taking DiBiase's "spot". Once Bischoff was on board, DiBiase wasn't needed as much, and that was evident by how he was used. DiBiase has said that his time with WCW was as miserable as he's ever been in his entire career, mentioning just how poorly run the company was from top to bottom, which isn't exactly breaking news to anyone that has followed the Monday Night War at all.
