Again, one has to respect the WWE’s desire to put plenty of women on the 'Mania card, but the fact that they’re doing so by cramming them all into two matches rather than nurturing several feuds across the divisions says it all.

Almost every eligible female Superstar will be competing in both Women's title matches, diluting what could be focused and compelling rivalries. In RAW’s case, Nia Jax has been thrust into a match with Bayley, Sasha and Charlotte, seemingly in an effort to diversify a match we already saw at Clash of Champions.

It’s a four way rivalry that doesn’t feel particularly compelling at this stage, but it’s hard to say that the space would have been better served by singles matches. We’ve seen so many different variations on Sasha vs Charlotte vs Bayley vs Nia over the past eight months that any combination sounds stale on paper.

It highlights a greater problem RAW’s women’s division is facing: a lack of depth. If they don’t get some new blood after WrestleMania, there’s no telling how long this will go on for.
