9. Banzai Drop
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BU-HWTNahKs There are few things more terrifying than looking up and seeing a near-600lb man's ass crashing towards you. That was the fate that many WWE superstars (and countless jobbers) endured in the early-to-mid 90s. The Banzai Drop was the finishing move of Yokozuna and it really was up to him to make sure he and his opponent were protected. The sheer size of Yokozuna plus the fact that he was dropping down from the middle rope must have made a few wrestler's think twice before laying down and taking it. Yoko would usually drop down to his feet first, meaning that his opponent didn't take his full bodyweight, but sometimes (such as in the above video) he misjudged it and crushed his opponent, injuring them. One slip on a Bonzai Drop could have had potentially very serious consequences. Yokozuna's cousin Rikishi adopted the move in the late 90s/early 2000s as a tribute. His version was a lot safer (since he was a comparatively trim 400lbs), but the danger was still there. The Rikishi Driver (sit-out piledriver) also carried with it an element of risk.
