If for some reason you don't have the WWE Network (WHY NOT?!), missing out on WWEs Monday Night War - Shots Fired release would be a huge mistake. Featuring all twenty of the hour long documentaries which look back on this period in WWE/WCW history, they provide a fascinating insight into both sides of the war. A lot of the interviews are taken from past releases and used again here where relevant, but that makes the comments no less interesting. There's also the issue of a lot of material being repeated; some anecdotes and clips are used in almost every single episode. Despite all of that, these are well put together and genuinely very interesting. Focusing on specific aspects of the Monday Night Wars such as the rise of the WWE Divas, the formation of the nWo, the creation of DX, and the roles celebrities played in both Raw and Nitro, just about every aspect you would hope to see covered most definitely is. It's not clear as of right now if there will be any extra content not on the WWE Network, but if you're paying $9.99/£9.99 a month for the online streaming service, there's really no need to pick this release up.
