10 Most Likely WWE Royal Rumble 2018 Winners
5. Seth Rollins
The most likely role for Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 34 is as cheerleader to Roman Reigns, his Shield co-member, who is - by just about all accounts - set to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship in the main event.
To most observers, that's a tragic waste of his many talents - it was fewer than three years ago, lest we forget, that he was headlining the show himself - but there is no real reason to believe that anything better awaits him now that Dean Ambrose, his most likely opponent, has been struck down by injury.
The Architect winning the Rumble makes little sense either. He's not going to take Roman's place opposite Brock Lesnar, and ducking the Beast Incarnate in favour of a match with AJ Styles - an objectively easier adversary (see: Survivor Series) - would be the decision of a coward.
The only conceivable way it could work is if he reluctantly agrees, out of friendship, to do The Big Dog a solid, voluntarily switching brands in order to clear the path for his fellow Hound of Justice to take a run at the man with whom he has so much unfinished business.
If it means Seth versus AJ, we'll take it - but it's pretty dumb.
