10 Most Likely WWE Royal Rumble 2018 Winners

4. Kevin Owens

With a WWE Championship match against AJ Styles pencilled in for the under-card, there's no guarantee that Kevin Owens will even be in the Royal Rumble at all.

But the company always leaves a handful of spots unclaimed, and anyone who saw last year's event - where Roman Reigns popped up at number 30, despite being involved in the Universal Title match earlier in the night - will know only too well that double-duty isn't unheard of.

There's plenty of reason to suppose that KO is in line for a starring role at WrestleMania 34, too - not least of all the fact that Vince McMahon took a fierce-looking headbutt a couple of months ago in the aid of helping him generate some heat. He's become one of SmackDown's go-to guys in the time since, and generally delivers on the big occasions.

What keeps him from being among the favourites is simply the fact that we spent much of last year watching him and AJ Styles go back and forth for the US Title. It seems unlikely that WWE would re-visit this feud so soon, and the Phenomenal One doesn't appear to be preparing to vacate his throne, either.
