10 Most Poisonous Backstage Influences In WWE History

4. Randy Orton

During his early years, Randy Orton was a nightmare several WWE Divas just couldn't wake up from. Finding it funny to play pranks on various women in the promotion, Orton was brazen with his tactics. On one occasion, he even vandalised the contents of Rochelle Loewen's luggage. A story posted online suggested he left feces in the bag, but Loewen herself revealed this to be fabrication. Instead, it was tanning lotion that her possessions were ruined by. Rochelle didn't last long in the promotion, and admitted afterwards that she didn't enjoy being around Randy. Several male stars have felt his wrath over the years too, including the likes of Mr. Kennedy (now TNA's Mr. Anderson) and Kofi Kingston. On both occasions, the names in question had their pushes dropped due to Orton's backstage influence. In 2009, Kennedy was released by WWE. The wrestler still asserts that Randy was responsible, because he felt Kennedy was too rough with him during a match on Monday Night Raw. In similar fashion, Kofi Kingston botched a match ending, which led to Orton chewing him out to management. John Cena has even said in various interviews that he never used to like the 'old' Randy.
