Here's another of those occasions when Rey Mysterio found himself on the receiving end of an attack from a man he had previously regarded as one of his best friends (you would think, by now, he would have learned not to let his guard down).

On this occasion it was Eddie Guerrero who did the dirty, rushing down to ringside ostensibly to save his bud from an attack by MNM, before attacking him in the most shocking and vicious way imaginable.

Latino Heat's character transformation from this moment on was truly extraordinary. Not only did he make it his life's mission to throw Rey around and out of the ring any time they bumped into each other, he even decided that he wanted to break up his family by claiming that little Dominic was actually his son.

Sadly, Eddie's tragic death at the end of 2005 meant that we never got a chance to see where this sudden heel turn would have taken him. If the rumour-mill is to be believed, it may well have resulted in a World Heavyweight Championship feud with Batista, and another much-deserved run at the top of the card.
