10 Most Underrated Daniel Bryan Matches In WWE

1. Daniel Bryan vs. William Regal (Superstars; Nov. 10, 2011)

But therein lies the issue: very few fans saw the match at the time it aired on WWE Superstars in November 2011. By that point, it was well established that the show wasn't worth watching and wouldn't feature anything of note, but on the rare occasion it did, fans missed out on monumental matchups such as this one pitting Daniel Bryan against William Regal. Everything about the bout was virtually perfect: it emanated from Regal's native England, he had a hand in training Bryan, and it was among his final few matches on the main roster. Oh, and he also entered to "Real Man's Man," which he was completely unaware of until the music hit. A genuinely funny moment to say the least. As for the match, Bryan and Regal put on a wrestling clinic in the middle of the squared circle. The former Intercontinental champion went blow-for-blow with Bryan and refused to give in to the punishment he was enduring at the hands (and feet) of his longtime protege. The crowd was electric the entire time, and although they sided with Regal, they showed respect toward the Mr. Money in the Bank by the end when he forced Regal to tap out. It wasn't until just recently that fans got the chance to experience the awesomeness of this match when it was added to the WWE Network.
