10 Most Unexpected WWE Burials
9. Chavo Guerrero
By 2008, most WWE fans had already decided that the ECW Championship wasn't to be taken seriously, but for anyone still in doubt, the company decided that WrestleMania XXIV's title bout - the only Tuesday night offering on the card - would be just 11 seconds long.
In a way, it made sense. Chavo Guerrero versus Kane is a mismatch in terms of size - it was only about 12 months earlier, in fact, that Chavo was competing for the soon-to-be defunct Cruiserweight belt - and, given that the 'Big Red Machine' had been named number one contender on the night itself, few fans made the journey for the express purpose of watching them go at it.
Unfortunately, however, this meant totally burying Eddie's nephew, even though he had been closely involved in the main events's Undertaker-Edge feud on SmackDown in the months leading up to the show (albeit as a lowly member of La Familia).
Laughably, WWE would spend the night's opener trying to convince us that the winner of the Money in the Bank match could, if they so chose, cash in their briefcase for a shot at ECW's biggest prize. Yeah, right.
