10 Most Unexpected WWE Burials
3. John Cena (again)
Squash matches typically don't last more than five minutes. John Cena's WWE Title defeat by Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2014 went more than fifteen, but make no mistake about it: this was a complete walk-over.
In fact, the impression WWE tried to give us was that the 'Beast Incarnate' could have ended proceedings at just about any time he wanted. Even when Cena locked in the STF, it seemed as though Lesnar was just toying with his opponent.
Big Match John has never been made to look like more of a chump, making this bout one of the most memorable and re-watchable clashes in recent WWE history. Put simply, we will probably never see anything like it again.
If there's one criticism you can make, however, it's that this match really should have taken place in Lesnar's return match at Extreme Rules 2012. Cena had no business winning that one, and it would have made an enormous statement if Brock had conquered him on night one.
