It was him, Maxwell. It was him all along, Maxwell!

Adam Cole was/is The Devil, and he's been pulling strings whilst out injured. It's now clear that Matt Taven and Mike Bennett won the ROH Tag-Team Titles from MJF on TV recently, and that they've been conspiring with Cole, Roderick Strong and Wardlow all along to f*ck with Friedman's head.

The Devil's reveal was a satisfying one, which allayed fears from fans going into Worlds End. Cole is a suitable choice for the role, but he's still got to recover from injury before stepping back inside the ring. So, in other words, expect plenty of promos on episodes of Dynamite/Collision to explain why he screwed his so-called "best friend" in the end.

Breaking news coming out of the pay-per-view regarding MJF could pump the brakes on logical bouts vs. Strong, Wardlow and The Kingdom though. Some are even wondering if Max will ever get the chance to avenge what happened.
