10 New Directions For WWE After Night Of Champions 2026
8. Tiffany Stratton Going Heel?
Unless she suffers from wrestling ref-itis, then Stratton must’ve noticed Chelsea holding her title and getting all excited about it around ringside. Green can argue that she was only licking her chops at the prospect of clocking Jade with the thing, but a self-obsessed character like Tiffany shouldn't buy that sort of claim.
Plus, her babyface run just isn’t working anymore. It's been on creative life support for a stretch now, and that's left WWE's writers with 2 distinctly different choices: A) Turn Stratton heel or B) Go with the odd couple tag-team she's been teasing with Chelsea for months. Ideally, they can whizz through the second path pronto then get back to business with Tiffy as a villain.
She's way more natural in that role than as a smiling, Michelle McCool in 2008-style baby. Stratton's whole presentation is disingenuous, and that's being charitable. Her shouts of, "What time is it?!" make one yearn for the days of Big Van Vader, and it's really all Tiffy has to say in 2026. That's a problem.
Who knows? Stratton could reignite her fortunes as a heel and rocket back to the top of the women's division with some careful planning. She certainly has bags of talent, but something just isn't clicking on the character front and WWE hasn't been quick enough to arrest her slide.
Yep, go with a tag act for a few months then have her pie face Chelsea once it becomes clear that Green isn't going to help Tiffany seize more prizes around these parts.
