10 New Directions For WWE After Night Of Champions 2026

3. The ‘OTC’ Questioning Jey Uso…Again!

WWE Night of Champions 2026 Jey Uso Oba Femi

The Bloodline's reprise has a definite rinse and repeat vibe to it, rather regrettably. That's partly why all of this noise surrounding what Solo Sikoa is doing on SmackDown and the breakup of The MFTs is ringing so hollow. These characters have fallen in and out with each other so many times that it's all rather played out at state of play in late-June 2026.

Brace yourselves for more where that came from, because Roman Reigns could well chastise Jey Uso for failing to bring the crown home to The Bloodline after losing to Oba. 'If you want something done then you have to do it yourself', he'd say, thus instantly transporting fans back to episodes of TV in 2020 when this all kicked off originally.

What a bright-eyed hopeful Jey seemed back then, eh? He wasn't the kind of worker who'd dream of winning Royal Rumbles and World Titles, but going after the 'Tribal Chief' spot Reigns held defo clicked for Uso from 2020 onwards. It won't matter to WWE management that it's played out - they'll laugh in the face of "played out" and tweak the noses of those rolling their eyes at more of the same.

Expect Jey's brother Jimmy and maybe even Jacob Fatu to mediate as Roman tears strips off 'Main Event' for failing to stop Femi coming for his title. If that's the case, then you'd be forgiven for checking the calendar on your phone. Is this 2026 or the ThunderDome days mid-pandemic?!

'I'm sorry, big uce'.
