10 New Directions For WWE After WrestleMania 41

8. Jacob Fatu Going Babyface

One of night one's best moments came when Jacob Fatu justified WWE's faith in him by entering a strong performance opposite the ever-dependable LA Knight. Fans in Vegas didn't outright turn on Knight (he remains popular), but it was obvious to anyone watching that Jacob is the apple of the fanbase's eye. Or one of them, at least. Those folks have more apples than Carlito.

They're not spitting in the face of Fatu for trying to be cool though. He is cool. The man exudes charisma and presence, and it's rather fitting that someone WWE has been building a megastar since last year now has a belt over his shoulder. Next stop: Feuding with old New Bloodline leader Solo Sikoa. That split is definitely inbound now Jacob is United States Champ.

A jealous Solo will likely demand that Fatu hand over "his" title, then Jacob will crack him with it for another big pop. WWE's fanbase is more than ready to embrace Fatu. He's been mighty impressive since debuting as a babyface-smashing heavy, and he's only going to get better throughout the rest of 2025.

Fatu vs. Sikoa would be a fine rivalry over a title that's sometimes overlooked in the grand scheme of things. Who knows where LA goes from here? Knight will survive, at least. He's too skilled on the mic and has a solid rapport with the core audience, so he probably can't fail when looking to bounce back.

Fatu is a future main event player, so it made sense that he took the 'W'. Now, more Bloodline-inspired infighting can commence.
