5. Cold Medal

Kurt Angle has settled into life as the convivial Raw General Manager with suspicious ease, not least considering that half of his tenure thus far has been spent panicking about the revelation that Jason Jordan was his biological son.

A return to the ring seems plausible the longer he proves his physical and mental well-being to upper management, particularly if the right opponent emerges for the legendary gold medallist to show off his skills against one final time.

Thanks to the varying degrees of mayhem that have followed Braun around since first destroying nobodies on Raw in mid-2016, Angle and the 'Monster Among Men' are no stranger to one another, but the likelihood of an actual match has always seemed somewhat remote.

In his prime, Kurt had spectacular matches with opponents Braun's size. Responsible for some of the best matches The Undertaker, The Big Show and Kane ever had, Angle was fantastic fighting from underneath as a heel or face, and as a victimised authority figure in his current incarnation, could sell Strowman's offence better than half the current active roster.
