10 Quick WWE Fixes To Save Braun Strowman

4. Taking The Torch

John Cena's No Mercy loss to Roman Reigns was a conscious effort on 'The Champ's part to anoint 'The Big Dog' as the company's top man several years after WWE outwardly labelled him as such. It was the type of display he had no interest in exhibiting in matches against Baron Corbin and Rusev during SmackDown Live! summer months, and he didn't exactly bare his a*se during a pre-PPV brawl with Braun Strowman either.

That simply can't be the case if and when the two scuffle on during 'Big Match John's next return.

If Cena really is as dedicated to the future of WWE as he claims to be, he shouldn't baulk at the opportunity to help rocket Strowman to the moon, especially after Brock Lesnar had absolutely no problem attempting the polar opposite.

Ironically, for all of the 16-time WWE Champion's verbal diarrhoea on the matter, it's Roman Reigns himself that has let his actions speak louder than words in attempting to make Braun a new star. Their programme was a deeply rewarding festival of ferocity, with the type of violent acts that left imprints on all fans, regardless of the result. Strowman nonetheless emerged victorious. The same must occur when he looks to dismantle the 'Face That Runs The Place'.
