10 Reasons Ambrose Vs Rollins Is The New Triple H Vs Michaels

4. Dynamic Characters

Needless to say, Triple H and Shawn Michaels are two of the very best this industry has every seen. But the reason is because of their ability to evolve their characters. When he first broke off on his own, Michaels was an amazing cocky heel, but as a babyface, he was beloved for what he could get done in the ring. He could also pull off comedy as seen in D-Generation X. Triple H has many layers to his characters as well - he can flourish in any role presented to him. Whether it be the ruthless heel, the fighting babyface, the vindictive authority figure or rebellious anti-hero; The Game has always been able to change up his character at any point he started to feel stale. It's what made their feud as entertaining as it was because they knew when to switch gears when called for. WWE has its many faults, but one thing you can't say they did wrong was making stars out of every member of The Shield. Granted, they were already headlining pay-per-views and competing against top-tier stars while they were together, but they appear to be the future of the company now that they're on their own. The best part about Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins is how compelling their characters are. They both appeal to every audience and make gold out of mediocrity. Ambrose may have a Joker-like persona, but his character depth is what makes him so intriguing. His mannerisms, mic skills and even his unpredictability make him dynamic. Rollins is similar in that sense in that he can be a great heel by elicting boos from crowd with "You Sold Out" chants, or he can make them love him with his high-flying aerial assault. If either one of their characters were one-dimensional, this feud would have died a death long ago.
