10 Reasons NXT Is Better Viewing Than Raw And Smackdown

6. Wrestlers Of All Sizes Are Highlighted And Pushed

In the broad spectrum of history within the WWE, the prototypical champion was tall, big, and muscular (isn't it a coincidence that John Cena's early gimmick was The Prototype?). Especially in the 80's and early 90's you never saw a smaller WWE Champion until Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels started to win titles. After that period, we went another decade of mostly larger champions until Chris Jericho won the first ever Undisputed WWE Championship. Though the bigger had dominated the title reigns in recent history, we have seen reigns from the likes of Eddie Guerrero, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, and Edge to name a few. NXT has some impressive big guys like Big Cass, Baron Corbin, and Bull Dempsey to name a few; however, just look at the last NXT Takeover special Fatal 4-Way. All four competitors for the NXT Championship were smaller guys - the champion Adrian Neville, and the challengers Sami Zayn, Tyler Breeze, and Tyson Kidd. It is without a doubt that all four guys deserve to be in the main event, and with the rise of guys like Daniel Bryan and CM Punk, it has opened up the door for wrestlers of all shapes and sizes to be pushed to the top.
