10 Reasons Why Sting Was Never As Great As We Thought He Was
7. Sting's Runs In TNA
For the purposes of modern pro wrestling, TNA best existed as a place where wrestlers who were perceived as superstars who never got a shot in WWE to be top guys to come into a second-tier company and explode as never before. If you told someone that Christian, R-Truth and Samoa Joe would've done more for their cases as stars that WWE missed the boat on instead of Sting, you might think I'm crazy. Then, on second thought, you'd know I was right. Outside of a few title wins and a Hall of Fame induction, name something of memorable note that Sting did in TNA. Name his industry jolting reinventions, amazing matches or legacy defining moments. Also, name that thing that Sting did to push TNA deeper into the mainstream entertainment consciousness, too. Exactly. You're coming up with pocket lint. Sting's certainly a nice enough guy, but there's now nooooo real money there.
