10 Reasons WWE RAW 25 Was Such A Letdown
8. Weak Main Event
Oh yeah, there's that pesky Royal Rumble thing going on Sunday. WWE almost forgot about that because they were so busy filming the APA playing cards with MVP.
Running past the third hour, WWE's big closing angle to hype up their gargantuan triple threat match for the Universal Championship was... just a pull-apart brawl with Strowman bodyslamming Brock... get hype?
And I have no opposition to Braun wrecking everyone, but when you consider all the over-the-top stuff he's done in the past few weeks, this last segment just screams of WWE having no idea what to do that would be refreshing, but they felt the need to include something about the triple threat because Brock was booked for that evening.
But really: they would have been better off leaving Brock home. By the time this main event came, everyone was burn-out on a crappy show. So to have this perfunctory angle did nothing to change the opinion that this show was a waste of everyone's time.
