10. Heels Are A Thing Of The Past
There's no getting away from it: out and out heels are a thing of the past in WWE. Quite literally everyone on the roster today should be classed as a 'tweener' - halfway between being a bonafide face and bonafide heel. Just look at the current roster and the sheer amount of 'bad guys' on it and tell me who is universally hated. The Miz? Big Show? Rusev? Outside of those three you really are struggling. Kevin Owens is a prime example of how heels are a thing of the past in WWE at the moment. The company has booked the former NXT Champion as 'heelishly' as possible - making him run away from countless fights, cheat to win, and having him insult all the 'good guys'. However, he still receives one of the louder reactions when he enters an arena for the first time because he is entertaining as hell and just too bloody good at what he does. The same goes for so many other 'heels' on the roster, as The Authority, Seth Rollins and New Day all receive the same sort of positive reaction. And if Dean was to turn, there's little doubting that he would receive a similar reception during his walk to the ring. WWE could book him as 'heelishly' as they wanted, but there's still that large proportion that will cheer him whatever the weather and take away from his dastardly dirty deeds.
