10 ROH Stars Who Made It Big In WWE

4. Samoa Joe

Alongside CM Punk, Joe was arguably responsible for putting Ring of Honor on the mainstream wrestling radar in 2004, when the pair put on some of, if not the, best work of the early 2000s - including a Dave Meltzer-rated five-star match at Joe vs. Punk II (and you know you're hot when you get a whole show named after you).

After holding the ROH World and Pure Championships (the former of which was around his waist for close to two whole years), Joe opted for a stint in TNA instead of following his former running mate to WWE.

It would not be until the age of 35 that he landed in the WWE Performance Centre, but - if the last few months is anything to go by - he's quickly making up for lost time. It's just a shame we didn't see him and Punk on the same roster again.
