10 Royal Rumble 2017 Entrants Who Won’t Enter 2018's

9. Mark Henry

A spot in the André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on WrestleMania 33's pre show was Mark Henry's WWE swan song. Before that, he also made a brief cameo in the 2017 Royal Rumble, and was allowed to eliminate Jack Gallagher, before being ousted himself by a dominant Braun Strowman.

Henry's retirement from the ring should be permanent. There's unlikely to be a clamour for more of his matches in 2018, and that means (optimistically, it's not up to us) he won't be part of the Rumble. Goodbye 'World's Strongest Man'. You were never the best worker in the industry, but you did give us some memorable moments. WWE will benefit from your years of experience behind the scenes.

Even if WWE wanted to give him one last run and hurl Henry into the Rumble fray, they shouldn't. 2017 allowed Mark to leave on his own terms and he'd hardly be considered a credit to the 30-man match in 2018 anyway.

Stay backstage, big man. That's where you're most useful.
