10 Royal Rumble 2017 Entrants Who Won’t Enter 2018's

5. Braun Strowman

Unless WWE have him pull double duty in Philadelphia, big Braun Strowman won't be able to add a third Royal Rumble appearance to his résumé. 2016 was a solid start in the match type for Braun (he lasted 18 minutes and eliminated 5 men), and he was able to build on that success last year too (13 minutes, 7 eliminations).

It was a shock to see Baron Corbin dump Strowman out of the 2017 Rumble, but that was forgotten moments after it happened due to the finisher fest that happened before it. Nor did it stop Braun from having an awesome year. In 2018, a Triple Threat with Brock Lesnar and Kane for the Universal Title also seems like a promotion.

Again, the writers may include Strowman as a bonus surprise in the Rumble. That depends on numbers and what happens in the earlier match. At some point, Braun has to be the guy to smash the elimination record and boast about it.

That suggestion has nothing to do with Roman Reigns currently holding the record. Honest.
